Sammy Mowrey is a comedian based in Los Angeles. They have appeared on Adult Swim, performed at the Midwest Queer Comedy Festival, Albuquerque Funny Fiesta, The Drop Comedy Club and Dinah Shore.

Sammy was accepted to perform at Portland Queer Comedy Fest and Burning Bridges Comedy Festival 2020.  Over the quarantine they took to creating character-based Tiktoks which have amassed over 1.5 million views and has resulted in their podcast Therapy For Men.

Sammy runs Femmes The Rules, a monthly show where men’s sets are interrupted by female comedians. Sammy tweets have been featured in The Atlantic, Vice, Buzzfeed and College Humor.

Each week Sammy tricks men into going to therapy by telling them it's a podcast. Sammy bros-down with guests and then dig deep into a struggle they're facing.

Femmes the Rules

Femmes the Rules is a monthly show that Sammy Mowrey hosts in Los Angeles. The show pairs up male and female/nonbinary comedians and during the man’s set he gets interrupted, given rules and arbitrary strikes. Then the woman/non-binary comedian does their set, get this, uninterrupted by a man! It’s all in good fun! While the show can feature biting riffs, this is not a “takedown” or roast-battle type of show. It’s a night of ribbing, banter and the occasional physical challenge between friends!
